ORH_wxman
12z Euro is fun. Miserable light precip with raw temperatures. Thicknesses as low as 528dm over Berkshires with light precip Monday lol. It has a pretty big upslope snow event for powderfreak. That would be interesting to see.

ORH_wxman
the freeze potential looks pretty reduced on this run... the heart of the cold passes overhead around 18z monday Monday night would probably have a frost/freeze for most of the rad spots still. But yeah, it would be a more threatening freeze potential if the heart of the cold was either 12 hours earlier or 12 hours later than the current run shows. tamarack
That looks similar to here and my White Birch is the only tree on my property that has leaves. More green at my foothills location, though it's on aspen and maple and your pic appears to show a lot of oak. Our few oak and abundant ash are just now breaking bud. Of course, today makes 10 cons days with temps reaching at least 67 IMBY.

powderfreak
Doom and gloomers portrayed a week long rain and drizzle event, looks like one day of diurnal showers, today tomorrow and Thursday and Friday all san diego sunsations. It will be spun. LOL I haven't seen anyone portray a week long rain event... bump some posts that say that. In the meantime continue to spin it as every poster being a doom and bloomer. No one has commented on how nice the weather has been. All doom and gloom.

No flowers on the red maple, or have they fallen? Huge flowering on RM up here, and when that happens they switch to growing seeds and leaf-out is delayed. Even if it goes as planned it will be said that it wasn't even close to helping the situation. Amazing how the guy who loves his lawn more than anything is hoping for a crippling drought all summer. powderfreak
Can't wait for that desert swampazz too. 20% RH over drought stricken dust fields at the ASOS but 60% RH over isolated lush lawns where homeowners who hype epic drought conditions show no sign of conserving water for the greater good
powderfreak
It has a pretty big upslope snow event for powderfreak. That would be interesting to see. Climo would say some meager accums could be possible at like 3000ft and higher...but maybe something exciting could happen because I'm out of town. I don't leave town from October till May as to not miss any snow events, so it wouldn't shock me if something happens in mid-May haha. Honestly the bigger issue in marginal temps when precipitation is low level terrain generated, is getting it cold enough at H85 to produce snowflakes. Often we end up with like pellet-like groupel showers or some icy mixture.
