Had a nice ride from home through Albany, across the Mass Pike and up to Augusta, Maine yesterday.  The foliage was easily furthest ahead in Mass near the Conn. River.  It's just starting up here in Maine, very similar to home.  There was still some snow at a sleigh riding? place along the Mass pike (maybe 495?) and I know we'll see some around Mount Washington later today and tomorrow.  Beautiful weather so far and it looks to continue through our stay (Monday).

I'm heading through Augusta tomorrow for meetings in Bangor and Orono on Monday.  It's been a few years since I've been up that way.

another day of absolute perfection.

The dry times are now the focal point of many conversations, people who could care less about weather (most of the public) are talking about it.

bone dry.

Mt moosup cool and moist

more leaf piles moved yesterday and lo and behold what did I find, nightcrawlers in the wet leaves at the bottom. Soon to be on my fishing poles, dry stretch soon to be a wet stretch, normal spring.

Yea that never happens in the Spring, well maybe last year too but who is counting. awesome spring so far love it.

Yeah it's been wonderful. Unfortunately there's some people who can't just say the weather has been nice... they need to hype it into something it's not.

Very high from the local Smokey here too for the past few days. There's probably a good chance they upgrade it to extreme early next week.

Yeah it would seem that way.  Any thoughts on next weekend (rain/storms?)  Might be the best shot, other than the showers with lingering ull.

Decent look... it's just really hard to get anything east of the Berkshires this time of year with the water so chilly.

Yeah, only speaking for W MA CT NY etc.  An eternity away, but overall look is somewhat interesting.  Hopefully it's a decent sfc low and cold front.
