weatherwiz
The EC is fairly wet for the middle of next week. Wed looks a little wet and raw. I swear, if Thursday is wet and raw in Boston I will flip
wxeyeNH
why would you even say that about Gene one of the longest running members with an excellent reputation and always adds content. He was not involved in any of this. There is a drought thread to salivate over. Pretty bad post dude.Discussing truly historical weather in a banter thread seems pretty innocuous. Thanks Ginxy. I have been outside all day and didn't even read the banter thread. I just looked at the obs and I would say that there has never been a May 4th in recorded history that at noon that 5 Midwestern states have reported snow. I thought it was interesting to post since we just have our boring sun and fun good weather here. If someone doesn't want to read my posts and doesn't care let them move on. Since I started posting in ne.weather 15 years ago or so I have never been involved in any drama on any board. Again, thanks for the kind post. Now back to weather...... joey2002
But they don't like it when we do that sort of stuff. They revolt and complain about injustices. How about just giving them a 5 minute (or hour) timeout?

dryslot
We could point out that this spring has been awesome for positive reasons including a slow snowmelt, very short mud season, much less mosquitoes. Its not all bad being dry. I mean the grass I see that is not watered looks fine, flowers are blooming . People putting irrigation systems on? WTF? Suburbia!!!! Outside of last years epic spring, This one certainly is one of the better ones, We could use some precip at some point, But we are certainly not in a dire situation by any means

weatherwiz
Euro says start flipping. At least this time our seats are under the overhang. ORH_wxman
Its pretty simple, the frigid fairy contingent also known as the SPRING SUCKS EVERY YEAR IN SNE CREW, yet again for the third spring in a row has nadda to hang there hat on. So now its anti drought, VIVA LA MIDWEST SNOW!!!!!! You have been trolling for most of this year, and you know what you are doing. Enough with your passive aggressive posts. The funny part is that most of the people who touted the 40F and sunny weather in late March as ugly have been posting about how great it has been recently. The drought hyperbole is just that. At the end of the day there is actual science that backs up the claim that this drought talk is completely overblown. Its not "LOL, debbie downers down-talking the drought again, LOL"....no, its simply that our water tables are completely normal and in New England its extremely difficult to get an actual serious drought. But if having to water the lawn a couple extra times per week constitutes a statewide emergency, have at it in the drought thread. BTW this isn't just directed at you...everyone needs to shape up a bit more on the hyperbole...myself included.

weatherwiz
With Lackey scheduled to pitch... Actually, I'm willing to give Lackey a chance. He really busted his ass off during the offseason and came into spring in great shape and spirits. He worked hard all spring and has looked very solid in his few starts. I'd rather him than Aceves right now

weatherwiz
I'm sure this pattern will eventually end up breaking down somewhat over the next few weeks...it may not break up completely but I wouldn't be shocked to see increased chances of rain over the next few weeks.
