Typhoon Tip
Highest temps on record here for the month...I remember one of those BD days. I think it might have been the 31st. I'd have to double check. This current BD front is fairly impressive. Yeah, that's the one BD event/date that I am certain of. I remember at 3:30pm looking at CAR ob and it was 39 with wind gust to 40kts that hour from the NE, while it was still 89F at the Lab. The boundary was visible on visible radar imagery, sinuously wobbling SW and it came through like a gust front off a thunderstorm. Super tight temp gradient as it came through UML. I remember reflecting how the previous day was so hot, but it was in the low 40s at the same time that afternoon - April 1. I think it garbage snowed even later that week. free_man
0z gfs looks decent for a few strong storms or even severe events in the longer-range. Haven't checked out the euro or ensembles since several days, but could be something to watch for D7-14. WNE is no stranger to May events of course. CoastalWx
Will be cool, but a sunny day here. Hopefully that cutoff lifts north like models have to get some rain.

Damage In Tolland
Will be cool, but a sunny day here. Hopefully that cutoff lifts north like models have to get some rain. I have doubts about that lifting north. I think there's a decent chance it shoots out east south of us. Some ensembles show that happening

ORH_wxman
Euro looked a lot better last night. I think we get some rain out of that system. Also the pattern looks more conductive to rain beyond that as well in the 2nd week of May.
powderfreak
I haven't been home but the last two days look like they have been absolute gems... Wednesday was 79/38 and yesterday was 82/39 at the local Stowe-Morrisville ASOS. Doesn't get more perfect than that with around 80 during the day then. falling back to the 30s at night. My 40F and higher diurnal temp change fetish satisfied Haha. A sign of a nice dry airmass for the mountain valleys.

weatherwiz
I really hope we at least get a better pattern to get some severe chances by the last week of May or 1st week of June...history indicates we should have at least a few threats but that's the two weeks my friend from NH comes down.
