kennedy
Just to let everyone know, I've been dealing with a lot of bad health issues since december...thus the lack of posting. I've always had headaches but back in december I really screwed up my neck and back...which resulted in very bad pain. Nothing seems to help and I'm going to have to go a specialist or hospital. I've seen my regular doctor countless times this year and was hoping she could tell me wtf is going on and at least give me stronger meds to help. Other than saying I have 4 pinched nerves in my neck, along with some bone spurs, she cant explain my back pain. On top of that, I fell about 2 weeks ago and hit my rips on a sharp object, broke a few of them on my left side, and the pain really got bad after I got sick a few days later (all night and in the morning). Ever since then, I also have pain even effecting my right side...why...I have idea. And lastly after I feel, I have either had some sort pain pain in my left and right in both sides of my abdomen area. It's been a bit better the last couple of days, finally, but every time I try to do anything, even light stuff, it causes my back, neck, and abdomen to hurt. And just sitting in chairs, recliners, beds, couches, etc really hurts my back and neck to hurt...thus the reason I have not posted much. My doctor did give me strong pain pills (percocet 10s 3x's a day and even that has not helped much..and this is on top of 2 other pain meds ) I'm on so many meds right now, on top of the pain meds, it's absurd and unless I take a lot, which I hate to do, it won't have much effect. So I'm only posting this morning because of taking enough to allow me to post. Just figured I'd give an update for anyone wondering why I don't post much anymore (if anyone has even noticed or cares that is ) Sounds Painful! Feel better soon!!!!!!!!!! LithiaWx
Fascinating stuff right here! This is the number of days since each National Weather Service Office has issued a tornado warning. Of note is the 365+ days for some NWS offices in parts of "Tornado Alley". Over 10 years in NW CA is pretty neat

That would be the place to live if you never wanted to worry about tornadoes destroying your home. Scrolling back up, I see Marietta already spotted it. Cold Rain
Can't wait for another bust of a thunderstorm day. Edit: The failure will be due to A ) the interruption of moisture transport by the system traversing the Gulf states, 2 ), the widespread cloud cover that will develop in advance of the system, keeping temps down and limiting instability, or D ), the trough/front complex will slow down and come through late tonight for the old "unfavorable timing" screw. Yep, just mudslides, earthquakes, and wild fires to put you on edge, lol. Well, and the Cascadia Fault.....so tsunami worries also...but no whirling death winds.....Oh, and the YellowStone Super Volcano, not to mention the lesser ones, lol. I think i'll stick with the tornado chances Tony

A few days ago, CPC had this event as a heavy rain event. Well damn. Might be lucky to get an isolated storm here today. That 2-3 inch rain event quickly faded. And if you go swimming the Humbolt squid will pull you down to your death...if the sharkes don't get you first. Oh, and the Pacific rattlers are moving into the subdivisions...or...maybe the subdivisions are moving in to rattler territory. Avdave
Many thanks, Dave! And I had the idea each tooth got it's on tap into the bone. I guess if you had them all out, they can set up a bridge kind of deal. It sounds like you really wanted to see it though, to get knocked out so many times, lol. But it sure sounds like you are happy you did it. Sure send the pics. It's good to have someone who has been though it all, and can dispel the myths! Tony No problem Tony. I will send the pics of the work in a few mins. I thought the same thing but it isnt anything like that. Yeah Im way happy I got the work done, it was worth it. Check your PM's in a few mins and you can see the work and the process that took a year or so. Any questions, let me know Cheers!

Lookout
I'm late responding (as usual) but I truly want to thank everyone for their kind words. Yes it's just a message board but I've "known" many of you for many many years and it really means a lot to me. Since January of last year (when I started to lose a lot of weight and had terrible stomach cramps every night), it's been pure hell. That was bad enough. But when I hurt my back/neck so much way back in early december, things really have sucked beyond words. Just to clarify, When I hurt my back/neck back in december, I felt a very bad rubber band like feeling (like if you took a rubber band and stretched it and along with severe pain) that went from the base of my skull, down the right side of my neck (just to the right of the spine) and all the way down to my lower back. Ever since I have had terrible pain around my scapula, muscle knots that I can't get rid of, and the neck pain which varies between the muscle that runs down it and the spine itself. It's so bad It's very hard to drive for very long and have to use pillows. Many times everything (head, neck, back, broken ribs...and even ribs on the other side that I didn't even hit, and my stomach/abdomen) hurts at the same time and it really cripples me. I can't do anything and am in so much pain that I scream out many times. I just had an mri back in december and then a cat scan in January and they found nothing wrong with any of my internal organs/stomach area but they did diagnose me with 2 more diseases (musculoskeletal disease and a form of spinal disease). That goes along with my colitis disease and depression..which is considered a disease as well. So that's 4 right there..and I'm not sure what else I have. I plan on getting more scans soon but it's gotten absurd....and if they don't find anything wrong, it makes it even more frustrating. I get so depressed, really on a daily basis from this, not only because I'm in so much pain but because I've been in so much pain for so long, I can't do anything physical at all (and I've always been active), it's effected my relationship with my GF in obvious ways (although she is very supportive and understanding of my situation) and the fact I'm relatively young (33) and have so many serious problems. And the depression and pain causes me not to want to even post here...and I've always been very active on these boards for 13 plus years and I hate not being able to. It's not something I'm used to to say the least and I miss it. At any rate, sorry for the complaining and bitching. But it feels better to talk about this stuff instead of holding it all in. If you do, you go crazy. But I hope I'm not being annoying here with all my complaints. It sounds stupid to the regular person since it's "just a message board" but I really feel love for so many here and I love this place period. I just want you all to know though, the support and kind words means so much...and thank you all very much. I mean it.
