WW II celebration with american army vehicles

Recommended Posts

25th, April 1945 is the official "liberation day" of Italy from the Nazi, and this year the celebration was bigger than usual here in my town, because few months ago, after years of research, an american amphibious vehicle has been found in the depth of Gardalake; the vehicle was sunk by the germans, with 24 young americans on board.

So there has been also a special celebration with the laying of a wreath of flowers in the lake.

The vehicles are part of a Tuscany's association of fans of historical reconstruction.
