Next week is looking pretty good so far. 60s and mostly dry until later in the week.

.08" of rain so far today with more waves of showers to the south. Some pretty good cells out in Boone County.

Another 80º at LAF today. Summer has arrived in the tropics. :(

Rather remarkable we may see little to nothing here from this cut-off low.

WPC 5 day rainfall...0.10" or so for LAF. Maybe, if we're lucky.

And to boot...no cool/or cold temps as well, as the forecast for tomorrow through next week is for continued AOA normal temps. Whole different world just to the west.

Thanks for finding and sharing the images. The storm certainly had rapid intensification. Awesome stuff. Hopefully BA gets back to you, if he does I'd like to know the response.

Just following up on this. I talked to Bart the other day, and he pretty much told me what I expected. He said he was working that morning and the forecast they put out the night before had no mention of snow and the NWS had nothing but rain as well. He also mentioned that the weather models(LFM and NGM) at that time handled the storm poorly.

I recommend looking at the Milwaukee Journal and Sentinel newspaper archives for more information.

This is a bunch horse####  ...i've had 5 good days in the past 3 months and 2 of those days had hurricane winds....

lol so dramatic.  ****ty springs like this happen especially this early and in WI.   You missed most of the april/may snows.. You just had a nice stretch of above average to end April and your weekend and all of next week has temps rising in to the lower 70's or so.  lots of afternoon lake breezes for tropical next week while you're cooking in La Torch.

Not...  I don't live in the tropics like you and Saukville..he was really rubbing it in last night...saying how warm it has been over on that side of the state..even had the stats for April showing MKE was warmer then LSE...  Must be nice.
