the minimum this morning was 75...one off the record 76 set in 1987...Today could be the 12th time since 1876 that the temperature reached 90 or higher on this date...

Was 2007 the longest that we had to wait for the next 90 degree reading at Central Park in June?

12PM Roundup

TEB: 89

NYC:  90

EWR:  88

LGA:  90

JFK: 82

ISP:  87

New Bnswk: 91

TTN:  87

I think some clouds affected/delayed some heating in  EWR and parts of Jersey the last hour,  suspect they spike mid /late afternoon

Beware of the onshore flow if you're headed to the beach Saturday. Models have southeast winds and low clouds. (edit, just saw bluewaves post above. beat me to it).

That's a very impressive inversion with the warm layer focused around 950 mb. I think the people will leave

NYC under clear skies tomorrow and have a surprise when they get to the shores.

Yeah, the ASOS at NEL is absolutely hysterical, I know a weather station installer named Nick Stefano who is good friends with Walt Drag, and stated that he would speak to Drag about NEL. I spoke with him a few months ago when AVP was running way too warm and they fixed it.

You mean its not really 107 there right now?
