Hey everyone - what's the chance of a washout on Saturday?  Having a communion party for my daughter and am hoping to be able to send the kids outside to play. ;o)  NWS shows 60% chance of showers but am hoping for a break during the late morning/early afternoon timeframe.

This looks like it will be the biggest May temperature drop for our area since 2010.

Newark will approach 80 degrees on Friday and have lows closer to 40 a few

days later.

May 2010 EWR

HPC QPF predictions were horrible.

Two day total: 4.53", with 1.33" falling today.

Did any models show this? We've had 2 days of flooding rains over much of the same area and the NAM was saying about a half inch combined. Today they said .11" for EWR and they are already over 1.3"

Incredibly active across the United States this May.  And how about Seattle being the hottest city in the country a few days ago?  lol

By the way did anyone catch that beautiful MCS that crushed Tulsa this morning?

Reports of flooding in Queens. Belt Pky at Springfield Blvd has several autos stranded in high water.

There has got to be a better solution to Belt Pkwy flooding...that thing floods in every shower. Gets old after a while.
