SchStormer - you turned your camera sideways, that's why the second one is like that. If you open the photos in a program like Microsoft office picture manager you can turn your pics to the right direction.

This spot was about a block away. Water is completely surrounding this house and is in their garage.

Love this comment on the video: "Have to love that some idiot had to honk. "SORRY to pause a moment before driving through a geyser..."

Lol I know. It's like the person who honked, drives through street geysers on a regular basis and doesn't think it's a big deal for anyone!

Except for a couple showers, this event looks to be done.

power line along the road held up good..  imagine an ice storm with all those big tree's, yikes.  Bet it looks nice on that road in fall.

Those trees/power lines look precarious. But yeah, a decent scenic drive...if there is such a thing here.

Good amount of road flooding in the area. Photo below of River Road/SR 43, from the link below.

Actually drove through that same stretch of road while in Indiana today, was surprised it was open to traffic as there we a few spots with water over the road.

On the way back home we decided to check out the Des Plaines River in Gurnee, much of the old Grand Ave area was under water.

Light is relative, it was moderate to occasionally heavy rain much of the day, but not nearly as intense as in parts of Iowa, N Missouri, and N Illinois.

not here and at the airport on wed..   would have had a lot more than 1" of rain if so.

up to 6.88" for the month... Forget what Brewers said the record was but we should have a good chance of passing it.

Good to see someone keeping tabs on things, been way to busy to pay attention. The record is 7.31" so we have a legit shot at it.

2.65" for a storm total here.
