Geos
SchStormer - you turned your camera sideways, that's why the second one is like that. If you open the photos in a program like Microsoft office picture manager you can turn your pics to the right direction. This spot was about a block away. Water is completely surrounding this house and is in their garage.

Lol I know. It's like the person who honked, drives through street geysers on a regular basis and doesn't think it's a big deal for anyone! Except for a couple showers, this event looks to be done. SchaumburgStormer
Illinois river @ Peoria headed for a record crest. I know that this will submerge water street and the train tracks in that area, but I wonder if the new Caterpillar museum is high enough to avoid any damage. On the way back home we decided to check out the Des Plaines River in Gurnee, much of the old Grand Ave area was under water.

BowMeHunter
Light is relative, it was moderate to occasionally heavy rain much of the day, but not nearly as intense as in parts of Iowa, N Missouri, and N Illinois. not here and at the airport on wed.. would have had a lot more than 1" of rain if so. up to 6.88" for the month... Forget what Brewers said the record was but we should have a good chance of passing it.

The record is 7.31" so we have a legit shot at it. 2.65" for a storm total here.
