Powerball
Only thing different i would do is have the T-Storms ( just give me the hail and heavy duty rains ) in the late afternoon/evening. But if it had to be in the am i would be fine with it. Can be every 3-4 days or so so it is not too wet. I'm perfectly content with every summer day being similar to July 4th, 2012 or May 23rd, 2011. As long as its sunny and not too dry, I can deal with maybe upper 70s/lower 80s.

Geos
At least the torch tonight is giving green up process a jump start. Getting tired of bare trees.
cyclone77
At least the torch tonight is giving green up process a jump start. Getting tired of bare trees. Yeah, it sucked having bare trees so late. This warmth is awesome, and feels great after the dismal, cold spring so far. Love these warm evenings this time of year.
Chicago WX
I was trying to find how many 100/80 obs have occurred at LAF...combining the worst of both worlds. I didn't find any but there were some really close calls like 99/79 and 100/78. I searched pretty quickly so it's possible I overlooked something. That's a pretty tough feat to achieve. But yeah, I couldn't find anything like that either.

Brewers
The 85 recorded at MKE yesterday broke the previous record high of 84 set in 1910.
BowMeHunter
Both MKE and RAC made it to 85. first 3 weeks of April was dominated with days stuck in the 30's but low and behold still find a way to set a torch record. seeems we can't go 3 or months now without breaking some heat records. Chicago Storm
The CFS didn't do well with April. Probably the worst performance in a while...
frostfern
I think it will hit 85 here today. Feels very warm but at least the dewpoint is low.
michsnowfreak
Detroit finished April with a mean temp of 46.4F, a departure of -2.8F. It was the 3rd consecutive colder than normal month. Also it was easily the coldest April since 1997, but nowhere close to making the 20 coldest Aprils list. The total precip of 5.29" tied for the 6th wettest April, a complete about face from the 7th driest March on record. MBY saw 5.49" precip in April. The final 2012-13 season snowfall total was 47.7" at DTW, which ties (with 1959-60) for the 38th snowiest winter in 133 years of record. Kinda crazy that it ranks so high being only 5" above average, but there are a ton of winters in the 35-45" range over the years.
