THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A

 

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN TILLMAN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA...
  EXTREME NORTHWESTERN WICHITA COUNTY IN NORTHERN TEXAS...
  NORTHEASTERN WILBARGER COUNTY IN NORTHERN TEXAS...

 

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT
    
* AT 806 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS AND STORM
  SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING A CONFIRMED TORNADO 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  DAVIDSON. DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THIS TORNADO MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH.

IN ADDITION TO A TORNADO...LARGE DESTRUCTIVE HAIL UP TO BASEBALL
SIZE IS EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  GRANDFIELD...HARROLD AND HAYNESVILLE.

For whatever reason, dewpoints are surging higher across the OKC metro....LLJ kicking in and lifting the WF north, possibly?

On the Mesonet the front seems to have stalled and in some areas up here by me it is retreating ever so slowly.  It's backed up about 12 miles the last hour or so in the Tulsa/Washington county area.

SOUTHEASTERN TILLMAN COUNTY...

                                                              

AT 829 PM CDT...A THUNDERSTORM WITH A HISTORY OF PRODUCING TORNADOES 

WAS LOCATED LOCATED 6 MILES SOUTH OF LOVELAND...MOVING EAST AT 25 

MPH. THE MOST DANGEROUS PART OF THIS STORM IS MOVING TOWARD 

GRANDFIELD. PERSONS IN GRANDFIELD NEED TO TAKE IMMEDIATE TORNADO 

PRECAUTIONS.

 

IN ADDITION TO A TORNADO...TWO INCHES IN DIAMETER IS EXPECTED WITH 

THIS STORM.

SPOTTERS WERE TRACKING A CONFIRMED TORNADO LOCATED NEAR GRANDFIELD...
MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

IN ADDITION TO A TORNADO...TENNIS BALL SIZE IS EXPECTED WITH THIS
STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
AREAS NORTH AND EAST OF GRANDFIELD TOWARD COOKIETOWN.
