weatherwiz
That blocks everything up to our south while the mid atl rots and we warm over the top Going by that the majority of the warmth would be to our north...at least the warmest positive departures. Damage In Tolland
Going by that the majority of the warmth would be to our north...at least the warmest positive departures.yes but it protects us and we stay warm and dry. That's a warm dry look on that map
ORH_wxman
atlantic firehose potential Yeah that could dump on someone if the southerly and southeast inflow gets established. Thats not far off from the 5/12/06 pattern that produced epic flooding around here. Pretty classic actually to have that lakes low anomaly and the blocking high anomaly to our northeast. powderfreak
Another sweet late-April day... sunshine and temps ranging from the upper 30s up top to low 50s in the village. It doesn't matter what the temperature is this time of year, as long as the sun's out it feels warm and nice. A good day to wander the woods, and watch the cycle of water, as the snowmelt travels down to the Winooski River, then to Lake Champlain and into the ocean. A good deal of snow left at 2,500ft in the hardwoods and a nice evening for a ski through the trees.

OceanStWx
When most of us say "Boring"...we mean from a metoeorlogical perspective. I think 60s and sun is perfect weather for golf or being outdoors. So not boring for being outside. But if you are looking to track something like storms, extreme temps, etc...then this pattern is about as boring as it gets. However, if you find high pressures sitting near or overhead for 5 days in a row exciting from a met perspective, then you could say this is also meteorologically exciting weather. I think msot would disagree, but "exciting or "boring" are subjective terms anyway. Somewhere Colucci nods in agreement.

Amped
These ULLS are impossible to get rid of in spring when the water is cooler than land. The pressure just doesn't want to drop in the Gulf on Maine and the storm can't exit.

CoastalWx
I could see the end of next week not being as nice..but Mon-Thursday looks 65-70 ish and sunny correct? I would watch any mid to high level clouds tickling into CT early next week. That's the one issue I could see with you being further SW...especially the torch ticklers in Fairfield. Something like that won't be known for a couple of more days.
MainePhotog
Frosty start this morning. Step outside and fill those lungs with the cool, refreshing Spring air. Going to be out all day with my camera gear capturing photos of epic battles between Bald Eagles and Osprey. Also found a Fox den with kits. Hoping they come out again today.
