12z models also brought the high next week a bit to the northwest. Awfully close to back door potential with some pretty strong northeasterlies nearby.

Our weather might actually be a bit nicer if we can bring the boundary south and keep all the junk in the Mid Atlantic.

Kevin's trick of bumping up MOS worked great today. Oh wait... looks like everyone here in CT falls short. MOS too warm today lol.

C'mon Ryan you know that you always go higher than MOS in the warm season, and always under-cut it if winter weather or snowpack preservation is involved.

Yeah droughts around here are generally NBD for interests other than agriculture. The drought in the 1960s even didn't threaten most public water supplies even though it was the most substantial drought of the century.

well that one hand dug well did go dry in Tolland County last year...

Oh yes... I forgot the rules!!!!!

You still skiing up there??

I'm about to get out and hike a run this afternoon. I enjoy this time of year with the late daylight, as one can hike the 2,000 vertical feet in about 75 minutes for a nice after-work workout, then get rewarded with a ski down.

Animals are starting to come out too now that the ski area is closed...I've seen a bear and a moose so far this week.

Easy Nellie. We're fine. Does this mean you will change forecast to drizzle and 48 all of next week?

We don't use that on a day with steep lapse rates and strong CAA lol. We had a fropa this morning. It works on days like we have upcoming

CAA was just ripping this afternoon. And as for next week I actually said a stronger back door push might be better to keep the junk in the Mid Atlantic away. I certainly wouldn't be honking 7 days of 70+ though.
