Cold Miser
Euro is beautiful for next week. What a great position for that high south of LI. Light westerly flow with seabreezes season? Right. And it it will probably rain on Saturday May 4th. The one day I don't want rain this entire Spring.

CoastalWx
didn't they show that for this week too? we ended up with one day of clouds and no rain for most areas When you are that far out, it's never a very clear signal. I even mentioned that yesterday regarding early May. Hopefully it's not a long event, but you can't expect sun every day either.

powderfreak
It is a pretty sweet morning...not a cloud in the sky and already near 50 degrees. This has made 3 in a row of wall-to-wall sunshine at least through 2pm.

ORH_wxman
all over for the frigid fairies....(not that it was ever that cold to begin with) The warm forecasts for April failed pretty bad. Only the Mid-Atlantic got any real warmth all month. I thought it would def be warmer than what we'll end up with. Might still finish the month negative here, but it will be close. powderfreak
From here on out it might as well be 75F outside...though I'll never wish for 90s, the next 5 months could do highs of 70-85 and that would be just fine.
MainePhotog
all over for the frigid fairies....(not that it was ever that cold to begin with) LOL! 5 days in the 40's with 4 over night lows in the 20's and 30's (3 of those overnight lows were in the upper 20's). Maybe not that cold for January standards, but quite cool for late April.

Can't stand 90 and humid. 90 and dry isn't that bad. I experienced many a summer in Texas with that...but when we got SE flow and the dews went to 65+, it was misery. Luckily, the average high here never gets over 80 in the summer and 90F here only happens on average about 3 times per summer. I could go for a repeat of 2004 summer. Cool and relatively dry...zero 90F days.
Damage In Tolland
Give us some solid , long periods of high dews and warm sultry nights.. And I don't need 90 degree temps either. Dry cool summers means little convection, which blows. My fear is as dry of a pattern we've been in this spring feeds back , and the summer ends up exceptionally dry . Hopefully we get some rains in May. The next 10 days looks very dry

Were there some cold days? Sure, also some warmth mixed in...unremarkable as far as how the month will be remembered.

Were there some cold days? Sure, also some warmth mixed in...unremarkable as far as how the month will be remembered. I'll remember having a high temperature of 39F on April 23rd as well as two back to back day's with low's in the 20's on April 20-21st which is a bit unusual for my area. I am hoping for a dry and cool summer with low humidity.
Quincy
May have to break out sprinklers next week too. Man is this getting bad..Noyes has no rain in 10 day forecast.
