2nd half of April, general forecast ideas and banter

How big of a meteorite?  I was wondering if anyone ever figured out what happened that night, enough to shake houses (and the Guilford Police Station) and be heard by a lot of people.  I just can't believe something like that would cause places to shake.  That meteorite must've blown up the guy's house or something.

I imagine it was a much larger one that broke up? But yeah the boom was heard across almost all of the state shortly before a softball went through a guys roof. We had Yale inspect it today and they confirmed it was a meteorite. 4th ever recovered in CT.

The Sultan is throwing up his signal to little league and soft ball coaches across the state this afternoon. He no longer throws up the signal for hydro fun... now it's for drizzly and cloudy spring days!

My grandson just threw his arm out in this cold. Elbow injury for a pitcher, not good, probably a strained tendon but it's swollen. Freaking cold as Darth Miser said. Why so long on the meteorite discovery. I mean something blows up in my attic I am up there in seconds.

Yeah, the Euro is actually kind of putrid for BOS. Like low to mid 50s type stuff with onshore flow.

Low to mid 50's would be a top 3 best Hacky Sack and Frisbee tossing day this spring in Milwaukee. March 2013 our avg temp for the month was 36..  April is 46 but that's with a handful of cheap high temps..  I'd pay for Bostons spring temps and last winters storms.  CoastalWx would be all whined and worried out by now about on shore flow if he lived next to Lake Michigan this sping.  Over 7" of rain this month and probably 90% of it with temps in the 30's..   Brutal spring from MKE north.

At least we finally look to join the rest that have torched this spring going forward but we'll still have to deal with a below normal temps Lake Michigan for a while yet.

Normal split is 64/41 for today and it only gets warmer going forward.
