powderfreak
Argh the clouds are making some headway to the NW... we've got milky sunshine now through some mid/high level clouds. The 40s are spreading northwest, too, with the cloud cover. Still hanging onto 50F here locally, even east of the Spine, we seem to be far enough north so far today to salvage a decent day. powderfreak
Well do you think he's enjoying burning oil to keep warm by having the heat on? I mean why not cloudy and 60? If you're not outside this time of year doing something who cares if its 38 or 60? If this was October we'd all love it. Not the last few days of April That's probably the point... if he's not outside, why not have it be miserable out, lol. But I mean why bother wishing for a hurricane strike if you can't go outside because its raining out? Just playing devil's advocate.

That is excitement and enjoyable. 38 and cloudy in shawls, parkas and hats in the house in late April is useless

Damage In Tolland
What do you do in October if its 36F and raining? Yet you love that weather in October.Because after a long hot summer we're ready for cold temps . It helps leaves turn, puts folks in festive football and holiday spirits and gives us hope of a long cold snowy winter. It's a different time of year and a preview. Late April is completely different. Folks getting ready for summer, outdoor warm wx sports, yard work etc etc.

CoastalWx
Theyve been wet compared to areas inland. WBW and DBD Oh so wet sandy soils on the Cape allowed for the rain there, but drier soils in CT just pushed the storm further east?
