Damage In Tolland
Good news is by days 9-10 most of the cold air is gone pushed way north into Canada with zonal flow into west . CoastalWx
Nice. Humid SE flow. Certainly better than cold NE flow. Big diff It's just a guess. It could easily be easterly with drizzle or perhaps a few warm days if the low is far enough west. It's tough to tell on a smoothed out mean, but I don't like the look at all. Ugh. ORH_wxman
Good for hard core convection? Monster wedges on the ground and baseball sized hail. In all seriousness though, a cool summer would probably be welcome at least to our west where the drought is trying to be relieved...that would be a nice boost going back into next winter if the plains can be spared of scorching dry heat this year. Haha, I never said I'd want it, but then again I'd take snow 12 months of the year if I could. Who am I kidding, we'd all go ape-sh*t over a 10-12 inch snowstorm right now.
