heavy_wx
Way too hot and humid the past couple of days for living in an A/C-less dorm and sitting/working in A/C-less environments. Fall, I await ye... Yea, today was a little warm, especially for walking all the way to campus. The global models suggest there may be a break in the warmth early next week and maybe a cooler shot in the longer range. The MJO looks to become active in the next week or so, with most models predicting a fairly strong phase 1 wave. That could support a trough in the eastern U.S. as the MJO modulates the extra-tropical flow down the road.
