Pellice
More than an hour of continuous vivid lightning here in eastern Somerset County. One of the best lightning shows I've seen, all varieties, plus brilliant undefined flashes that lasted longer than usual.
SmokeEater
OFB just came roaring through here, I heard this noise, and walked outside and got sandblasted, lol. Must have been close to 50 mph. Now the fire calls for wires down, etc. are starting.
BucksCO_PA
9:00pm temp - 59.7 - low for the day storm total - 0.32" not a bad storm, especially for early APR, plenty of cool cloud to cloud spider lightning, wind gusted near 40mph with the preceeding gust front overall interesting wx day, 87 to 64 in a little over 2hrs with the seabreeze front

Ryan I missed out here, been back and forth also with the skywarn webinar also, but that missed me to the north, didn't speak to soon locally, but it's early in the year, I am down to 2 tripods now so I am now limited. I hope that stuff out west makes it though.

famartin
This is very depressing,35-40 mph best in years. We need to get more storms going your way. Don't judge this area by Kentucky standards
MGorse
51 mph gust at PNE and 47 mph gust at PHL. Not bad!
greg ralls
Round 1 was definitely the best storm I've seen in Collegeville since the 5 AM MCS on June 29th of last year. Kind of reminded me of it a little with the constant strobe lightning & thunder effect.
Boch23
Was at the rink and this was before it even started raining. I guess something knocked the power out. Minimal lightning by the time the storm got to west goshen. Can't complain for this early in the spring. Also here's the radar from the time the storm hit. Purtty to look at. famartin
Well its not a "severe" ob, but the 'rents had 0.57" of much appreciated rain from the storms last night. Now hopefully Friday works out as advertised too and they should be well placed for a rapid green-up.

JCT777
Both rounds of storms last night had lots of lightning and good downpours in Spring Mount, although Round 1 (between 7:30 and 8:00 PM) was more intense than Round 2 (between 9:45 and 10:15 PM). NaoPos
Delco got brushed by the 1st round. Havertown had some decent downpours and wind from the outflows. Went to the gf's house in media and it was bone dry there (1st round) 2nd round storms really weakened as they approached the river. Lightning really died out and rain was short lived and spotty

The damn river temps are sorta what killed off the storms also just one factor plus the outflow driven forcing from that line as I estimated 50+ MPH wind gusts during the outflow. Yea, the river is so micro micro climate it's not even an issue., especially with a predominantly west wind. Timing was an issue, as was weaker forcing. The 1st segment unleashed a pretty decent OFB near the pa/NJ line that really helped stabilized the atmosphere out ahead of the 2nd line. You hAve to remember, it's April and we we're lacking low level moisture. Overall, not a half bad set up with a nice EML and shear. Wouldn't look too much into it.
