Damage In Tolland
Because it's a tradition as we run our marathons we discuss the wx for them here. Hopefully it's around 60 and low dews...but I have a feeling it's a torch with high dews for some reason. Cold Miser
Never knew there was a Providence Marathon. How many years has that race been running? Most runners I know think the world revolves around them, and because they "run" they are superior to others. It's the perfect "sport" where it's all about numero uno, and no one else. Bike racers are similar.
S&P
Downtown PVD 8:00very nice, marathon is along the east bay - including the bike path, i run there sometimes , you'll love it very scenic. little early in the day for a SB, but you should pick up a nice tail wind (SB) on the way in if the overall pattern cooperates.http://www.rhoderaces.com/img/maps/marathon-2013.pdf

Cold Miser
I may be in Providence that day so I checked out the course map in case I am able to watch some of the race. Looks like a lot of back tracking (going over the same streets when coming back to the finish). Also some decent elevation changes shown on the profile map as well. Damage In Tolland
Well I found out that for BOS 2014 you have to have qualified by Sept 2013, so that means HFD in October is too late. So its either qualify in PVD in 2 weeks or run for charity. This does free me up now to enter the lottery for NYC Marathon on Nov 3. Registration is today and they do the lottery at the end of May to see if you get in or not. If I don't, then I'll just run HFD in October
