JoshM
Been holding steady at around 55 degrees for 24hrs... around 1.27 of rain in the bucket since yesterday at this time. At this rate, by Monday night, I could seriously see hitting 4-5 inches total
CAD_Wedge_NC
Wet and cold! 53.8 , I love the wedge! Yep, I am right there with you. I will never complain about a rainy late April day with temps in the low 50's. Picked up 1.8" so far with more on the way.

WidreMann
Looks like another west of the Triangle event. Every slug of rain weakens and falls apart as it hits the edge of the Triangle. We've gotten only light rain in small bursts here, while there is steady moderate to heavy rain to the south and west. I've seen this before. I took a while but things finally got going here this afternoon. 1.25" in the gauge. Rain is very light at the moment but the forecast says more on the way. NavarreDon
Things seem to be winding down in Weaverville. Looks like we are going to finish with 1.53" from this event & 16.31" for the year so far. A pretty paltry amount for most but, in the shadow of the Mnts. it puts us on pace for about 49" this year when we average 36".

WidreMann
Bitching about not getting flooding rains like many around you is dumb. I'm not really looking for flooding rain, just, you know, actual rain, and not drizzle.
calculus1
Over 2 inches of rain since midnight here IMBY. I'm quite pleased with this event! Probably another tenth or so before midnight, as it's still coming down softly. I get you, Widre. I enjoy watching the rain pile up. I too feel ripped off when everyone else is getting the rain, and I'm not. I don't really have to worry about flooding in my locale as there are no streams anywhere nearby, so I'm always looking for more rain whenever I can get it. metalicwx366
The damn forcefield protected us from everything. Seabreeze mergers weren't enough to make it past. Oh well not a drop today unless you live on the N side of town.

isohume
GSP has always been neurotic on QPF amounts. The amounts are usually over zealous in the end. Can I see your data? Looks like we got lucky...
calculus1
3day.JPG My data matches up well with this storm total estimate. IMBY, I received 2.30 inches of rainfall from Saturday evening through early this AM. I'm expecting cool and cloudy for the remainder of the week with a few intermittent showers. Livin' the dream! Keep up the good work, isohume! You guys were pretty right on with forecasted amounts for my area. But, just like referees and officials at sporting events, you guys have a thankless job...
