THE CAROLINAS THIS EVENING AND OFF THE VIRGINIA COAST OVERNIGHT.

THE COLD AND DRY AIRMASS IN PLACE HAS ALLOWED PRECIPITATION TO

MOVE IN AS SLEET AND SNOW THIS AFTERNOON. DESPITE THE WARMER

GROUND...INTENSITY OF THE PRECIPITATION WILL BE STRONG ENOUGH TO

CAUSE SLICK SPOTS AROUND THE AREA...WITH MOST ACCUMULATION

Temp dropped to 35 this afternoon. Sleet mixed with heavy rain continued all day here five miles north of Lake Lure. At 5 p.m. I drove 25 minutes west, and this is what I found along the ridges above 2,700 feet.

Impressive pics there MM. Thanks for sharing them. Very wild for April 4
