GFS has changed its mind .

Nice snow for Mts in PA and north.

Yeah the cold hits continue. Nice start for ski areas with snow making.

That it definitely is. JF/BB is already open and Blue is talking about opening black Friday if "the weather cooperates." I have a feeling they will be open come black Friday.

Philadelphia has a shot for approaching or reaching its lowest maximum temperature for 11/24:

Record: 34°, 1938 and 1956

11/22 0z MOS: 34°

11/22 6z MOS: 33°

Lowest maximum temperature since 2000: 34°, 11/25/2005

Last colder maximum temperature: 30°, 11/28/1996

Thanks Don.

It's been a little while since '38 and '56.

Looks like many area's in the east will break some records?

12z GFS giving the area a little better thump of snow sunday night before change to mix and rain, gets mild on monday but now has a new wrinkle adding a third wave with a change back to snow next tuesday. A real roller coaster

I could see 1-3" snow north and west of the city sunday night. Good way to start december

More concerned about sleet and ice. A dry start could lead to evap cooling and a quick period of snow/sleet before going to rain. NW stays colder longer of course.
