Not a whole lot of rain this morning. 0.40" since midnight. UGN had a report of freezing rain earlier at 36°. Now I know that is not legit. I would think the marine air mass would melt any snowflakes before they got close to the ground.

Skilling showing sim. radar maps and it looks like an intense period of rain and storms for NE IL/SE WI between 8pm-12am this evening. A mix gets into the far NW suburbs early in the morning on whatever model he was showing.

Boundary sitting right over Huntington Co. Had a hailer move through this morning, then the sun popped out and it jumped into the upper 70's and quite humid.

I drove to Ft. Wayne around 11:30 and they had a cool NE wind up there with temps in the low 60's. Pretty neat stuff.

Storms building on the boundary as I type.

Geos, hopefully the timing is right because the storm complexes have moved through in the early morning the last three days and I was hoping for an evening complex this time around.

Soon forgot about the Bow Chicka Wow Wow early in the afternoon yesterday?   Kids nowadays I tell ya :baby:

No, I didn't forget about it, but being that I didn't get a good look at it coming in (was at work at the time), if you took some images of the dark storms moving in, it would be much appreciated.

wasn't dark here...  same ole socked in dreary sky look.  mostly just an amazing thunder concert with little in the way of winds, hail, etc for me.

My parents told me it was as they drove from the east side back to Tosa, and when it came through, looking to the east you could tell it was about to storm because it got even darker than it already was.  Perhaps because we were hit with the center of the bow here a bit further north, it was a bit more pronounced.

Yeah stratus off the lake will block the view of any approaching shelf cloud. I remember the when the complex was going through Racine it got noticeably darker here. Today the overcast so far is not that dark. Looks like rain in next couple hours.

lol. Back in the 80s I think so. I do see Camaro's around Racine and the area in general still. Not sure if it's unique to that city though still.

No fog here. 38/36, so there a spread still.
