Ottawa Blizzard
Doesn't look too warm at Wrigley. Game time reported temp of 41. Lots of empty seats, to say nothing of the product on the field of course. Regardless, dumb of the Cubs to schedule home night games in early April. Tomorrow night may be worse, if they don't get rained out. I'm a Toronto fan, but I figure I have to cheer for a National League team as well - and I like underdogs - so go Cubs go! Chicago WX
I'm a Toronto fan, but I figure I have to cheer for a National League team as well - and I like underdogs - so go Cubs go! lol, there is no bigger underdog in all of sports than the Cubs. Gonna be a long long time until they're decent again. Blue Jays on the other hand, should have a good shot this year. Good luck.
Brewers
The ski masks are out in force tonight at Wrigley and it looks like the Cubs are already giving the Brewers the game. Elevated convection developing over Iowa should head this way later tonight.

The weather that is going on out west is bonkers. Very cool storm system. Stark contrast to the warm, dry, and quiet conditions here in central Indiana. Beavis..i was just going to post that! I doubt you ever see a contrast like that anywhere on the planet? in that distance..even given the elevation... daddylonglegs
Just over an inch here today...but cold and miserable...had a mist when it wasn't raining... Road construction crews, fruit growers, anyone who works outside or depends on the weather is screwed (golf courses/landscapers)...
frostfern
Really heavy showers training over me now. Lightning not very frequent but loud. Last one shook the ground pretty good.
Geos
Nothing going on here much. Few light showers passing by now and then. 37°! Still snowing to beat the band in western SD. Up to 16" down with temperatures between 8-16°.
cyclone77
Incredible storm system. Can't remember so many warned storms in sub-freezing conditions. Temps are in the lower teens in northeast Colorado, which was the hot spot for chasing 24hrs ago. Pretty quiet night here. Most of the rain will avoid us tonight, but tomorrow and tomorrow night look rainy.

cyclone77
70s in southeast Iowa at mid-evening. Meanwhile a full-on late season ice storm going on up in the northwest part of the state. In between some storms will large hail. Gotta love April. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/11/0409k.jpg/'>
Chicago WX
NAM has around 0.50" storm total for here. All the talk of 1-3" totals this week here are going to fail miserably. Ugh.

cyclone77
Surprised SPC hasn't expanded the slight north this evening with all the hail reports well north of the outlook. Think there's about as many severe reports in eastern Nebraska and northern Iowa as there is in the rest of the slight risk area.
Harry
NAM has around 0.50" storm total for here. All the talk of 1-3" totals this week here are going to fail miserably. Ugh. Yep.. So far the models ( especially ) the ole mighty euro have failed miserably up to this point. Euro just a few days ago showed this area being on the northern extent of the heaviest rains/QPF ( 3+ ) and 1-1.5 qpf should have ALREADY fallen. So far .23! Have alot of ground to make up to get into the 2.5+/3+ range most of the models had showed in these parts. Have my doubts.

I think we're at 0.02" total. Starting to think we may not get to 0.50" total for this entire storm/system. Off to a terrible start in the rainfall department here so far this Spring. Better not be a trend...
