Shallow arctic air tends to be underdone by the models so I think it's plausible but we're really fighting climo here. Almost fantastical to think we could get an ice storm in mid April. April: 0.03" -0.79" Since March 1: 1.28" -2.21" 0.04" in the last 15 days, through today. Barely running a surplus on the year now. Comparison between last year and this year through April 8. January 1 through April 8, 2012 total precipitation: 5.74" -1.37" January 1 through April 8, 2013 total precipitation: 7.23" +0.12" Need rain, stat.
