Another torch here today, and most of this upcoming week looks about the same. Tropics of Indiana never fail.

Gonna do my first driving range session of the spring today. My game isn't course worthy yet.

Alas, the weather remains dreadfully boring in the LAF. Snooze city.

This is the time of year when it's good to be this far south.

Ouch! - spring delay big time this week.

Don't care to see any snow this week!

Chilly day after morning snow... clouds trying to break up, 35 degrees.

can't wait to see your yard in the summer, geos.

looking like a late week snow storm:

CONCERNS EVEN MOUNTING FOR ANOTHER
ROUND (OR TWO...OR THREE) OF WINTRY TYPE WEATHER AS FORCED THERMAL
GRADIENT...DEEP LAYER MOISTURE FEED...AND ENERGY EJECTING OUT OF THE
WESTERN TROUGH WORK IN HARMONY TO DRUM UP SEVERAL ROUNDS OF
PRECIPITATION. FORECAST HEADACHES ARE MANY...WITH PRIMARY FOCUS ON
JUXTAPOSITION OF DEEP MOISTURE/BETTER FORCING AND DEEP LAYER THERMAL
REGIME. THESE WILL HELP SHED SOME LIGHT ON PRECIPITATION TYPE
CONCERNS...LIKELY OF MOST IMPORTANCE TO WINTER WEARY NORTHERN
MICHIGANDERS....... very true!!!

Only 57 for a high IMBY.  Much warmer to the south in Indianapolis with low 70's today.  But hyacinths are starting to bloom and I've seen crocuses and the central plains may get the first good svr wx outbreak of the season the next few days.  Spring is slowly exerting itself.

Winter's last hoorah?  I hope so!  18z GFS gives me about 4-6 inches of cement.  But then again, it's the 18z.  The good news is that the trees have just barely started to bud out which means power outages won't be much of a concern.

Heres the 0z euro text output for YYZ. Curious to see if the 12z run holds its ground.

THU 00Z 11-APR 2.1 1.6 1016 95 99 0.38 565 552

THU 06Z 11-APR 1.3 -0.6 1014 95 100 0.18 562 550

THU 12Z 11-APR -0.4 -3.1 1015 90 100 0.23 560 548

THU 18Z 11-APR -1.0 -3.9 1014 83 100 0.25 558 547

FRI 00Z 12-APR -2.2 -3.3 1012 85 67 0.30 555 546

Any update with the 12z run? Looking at the wundermap/PSU maps, the EURO seems to have held its ground.

Yeah it's good that things have not greened out all yet. A snow last year at this time, would have been potentially devastating.

Made it to 56° today. Down to 37° now.

Brewers looking strong...should be a heck of an opener for the Cubs at Wrigley...should be plenty warm

Anyone going to the game?  If you can, please yell things at Soriano... like that he doesn't get paid enough, or he needs to sign a bigger, longer contract with the Cubs.

Looks like Braun needs better PEDs. Nagging injuries and all.

Night games for Tuesday and Wednesday. Pretty stupid early in the season at Wrigley. Not to mention the potential for rain both days/nights.

Well yeah, of course. Just lamenting the recent boring stretch here, that's all.

Well it shouldn't be boring this week for you.  Looks very active down there.  I'll take the cold rain if there looks to be some elevated CAPE, just to hear thunder again would be nice.  Overall pretty meh.  I'd rather be where weatherbo is and get a parting spring snowstorm.

Yeah, I guess we'll have a chance or two at hearing some thunder here this week...which is nice.

Different world up at Bo's place right now. More snow wouldn't bother me at all. But again, I'm an "anytime it wants to snow" weirdo. :D
