WVclimo
4" here. I think that makes it the biggest post-March 20th storm here since 1984. Will verify that after getting some work done.

midatlanticweather
For MBY - this was the biggest system yet. Measured just about 3" on the ground. Even in the Christmas time I did not see this much here, while 5 miles away did! Same with March 6th. Great Jeb walk with the dog this AM!
NoVaSnow
When are you coming by to shovel my walk? Thanks! needbiggerboat, I live near you (off Sully Park Drive) and I think we live in the better part! Looks like 3-3.5 on cartops here. Barely snowing now though. Swis: Watch out. He doesn't like our part of Centreville.
ThePhotoGuy
To be honest, never thought we would get any accumulation here due to the closeness to the bay. I call this a win!
wxmeddler
Snowfall rates barely keeping up with compaction rates.. sigh. 2.8"
H2O
Compaction will prolly keep me under 3" but best one day snow in over two years
Ji
hopefully next year...we can have a real snowstorm to track with a gulf low/high pressure and temps in the 20's. Frustrating past 2 years
swimmatte
i didnt measure anything much over 2.. granted it might have melted a little first. probably some generous measurements with this storm. 3-6 is not a good range for me despite what happened. I hear you. But I don't think it's a fair statement to say this met in the middle of the bears and bulls. This was a win for the Bulls like they were playing with MJ. Ji
new formula....take the GFS and NAM qpf and divide by half now? Euro is best qpf model for sure

WxUSAF
Between 3.5-4" outside my office in Greenbelt. Hard to get a great measurement on the grass. Still snowing at a 1/4mi vis pace, but radar looks like it's about to end.

PDIII
It is just ripping right now in Baltimore... big flakes, reduced visibility... 4-5 inches. This would have been 8 in Feb.

North Balti Zen
Got somewhere between 2 and 3 inches in Parkville, still coming down at a decent clip....tiny, fine flakes. About to take my Corgi out for a romp in the snow :-) Great, nice to see verification of what i was measuring in Hamilton neighborhood.
cigrgd
6 inches of snow in my yard in Columbia near Rt. 29 and 108 at 8:45 AM. Still snowing, too. Roads are slushy. Great spring snow!
mitchnick
His, Ellinwoods, and a string of GFS maps for the 48 hours leading up to the storm have verified best out here. busted here DT has done perfectly here w/3-6" I've got 4"+ right now including roads covered

But I don't think there was any chance for 6" IMBY We would have had yesterday's RIC snow, temps stay at 32 and what we got this morning to get 6". WxUSAF
This would have been 8 in Feb. Eh...20:1 ratios? Maybe if it was frigid cold. Ratios seem to be between 7:1 and 10:1. Not bad for March 25th. 6 inches of snow in my yard in Columbia near Rt. 29 and 108 at 8:45 AM. Still snowing, too. Roads are slushy. Great spring snow! Awesome...that's not far from my house. I'd love to be able to count 6" IMBY. Was only 2.5" when I left at 6:30am, so I can't imagine more than ~5" IMBY now.
mdhokie
4" and still ripping even though radar echos have gone kaput. We might be able to get 5-6" out of this. Didn't even have a WWA until 5:30AM.

EastCoast NPZ
I was over 6" when I left my house for work. Snow continues to fall, but I'm not sure it can accumulate anymore. Still 32F out, but it'll take heavier rates and I don't think that will happen out here. 6-inch storm is good anytime of the year, but incredible this late in the season. If this is the end, then it is a great way to go out. What a remarkable change in perception of this winter for me. 3 weeks ago it was pretty darn negative, now I'll actually remember it quite fondly. 3 snowstorms in March and a March total of 18.5" (unless it accumulates more this AM). I'm now actually a bit over climo for the season (29.5 inches total), decent cold snap in January with a little cold, fluffy clipper snow, AND we had a White Christmas with snow on the ground through New Years. It feels good to see the DC/BWI crowd finally break that infernal <2" drought. Here's hoping the rest of the AM brings you all +SN. Congrats and enjoy! Now, bring on the El-nino and let's repeat 09-10.

If all we got was half of that but still better than the low end then i'm happy Looks like it is getting there NE tho models favored Potomac n for the coastal. Out of season events are tricky. I didn't have a very good call and slept through it so I will probably stick to tstorms the rest of the year.
mdhokie
Looks like Howard could be the winner for the close in metro areas. There is a ridge just west of I-95, south of downtown Ellicott city where the elevation is 500+. I bet they are cashing in, since I have 4" and am 10 miles east and 350' lower.
