jwilson
So much for a white Christmas. If it's in the 50s or 60s on the day, I'm just not a fan of that, tbh. Not what I consider "Christmas" weather. Anyone have an idea as to when we may get some more favorable teleconnections? Right now nothing is on our side; +NAO, -PNA, +AO. Rubbish. Is this warmup prolonged or just a respite before winter comes back? I have a funny feeling with the unusually wintry December, one of January or February is going to be warm and not-so snowy. Also I can't find a link for the EPO projections - anyone have one?

RitualOfTheTrout
Looks like a wintry overnight period approaching. I love overnight snows because even light rates can accumulate with ease, but I usually miss the snow actually falling.
RitualOfTheTrout
Dont give up hope on the white christmas. These models are not sure how fast the front comes into the area. It's going to be a close call. I would tend to favor wet vs frozen at this point, we will likely just be debating how cold the rain will be. Todays runs would certainly imply high odds of a brown Christmas this year.
