Rolling Snowed
Heaviest precip should be next 6-8 hours...I expect some nasty road conditions out there later tonight...currently moderate sleet in Canonsburg.
CoraopolisWx
With the model shifts today, along with nowcasting, could the biggest snows actually end up southeast of the metro ? Also I think our friends over in the central pa forum, might be suprised tomorrow morning.

Burghblizz
About 2" here with steady snow. Just not looking great it would appear for any of the banding that had been talked about.
colonel717
Got about 2 inches in Bethel. Looks like maybe an hour or so of more snow. Those short term models were pretty much a failure for our area. I really got sucked in thinking we would get more than a couple of inches... Can't really compain as it is so rare to get snows more than 4 inches here, at least been fun to have so much to track so early in the season. CoraopolisWx
Earlier this evening I was reading the ohio forum, and most of the posters were hardly impressed. You could see the dry air advancing faster than the heavier precip.
Mailman
Around 2" here, as well.
RitualOfTheTrout
Didn't help the system was a fast mover either. At least we got a change over and had some snow fall from a storm that looked like it was going to be mainly rain 3 or 4 days ago. Probably another hour or 2 of light snow showers as it looks like the precip shield is really falling apart now. I expect most places will measure 2-3 inches when its all over. From the looks of it, the Sunday storm isn't going to amount to much either, which isn't a bad thing given we were likely to see more rain than frozen from that anyways. tsteel
1.5" in Cabot as of 10pm, Still snowing decently as well
Rdd9108
3 inches is not that bad. Also glad that we wont see a lot of precip sunday. Do not want to deal with rain/sleet. Hopefully we can squeeze a blizzard or a heavy snowstorm this year.
Digger
Did you guys know that this afternoon, Accuweather upped their forecast to 6-10"? Oops.
Thunderhead
Seems like our 0.1" liquid / hour rates actually occurred to our SE, like over Martinsburg, WV-Harrisburg, PA. Maybe someone will study this event to figure out why models busted so badly.

NewCastleWX
Around 1.5 maybe 2 inches in some areas. Nothing to write home about. Very light snow falling now.
Rolling Snowed
Maybe 2" total...yet again we dodged the proverbial weather bullet.
blackngoldrules
I only picked up about 1.5 From this one. When I can still see grass peaking out of the top of the snow, I know it was a pretty minor event. The original forecast of 1-3 for my area ended up being the accurate one. On to the next one.
