It wasn't ribbing, more admiring that you are certainly one of the more passionate winter weather lovers on this board...sorry if it came off as ribbing. It was just noting the change of even Blizz who is now talking about starting a lawn thread and you can tell he's getting to warm season mode ;). Slowly but surely.

Something has changed with me recently in being ready for spring weather. I think it's the fact that it has been chilly for this time of year and snowy relatively. One of those things where you want what you can't have. If it was 80F like last year I'd be wishing for more snow on the ground, lol.

This next week will be cold with daily snow showers here, and looking at a forecast for work that has highs in the 20s with NW winds of 30-40mph...I'm done with that unless its a snowstorm haha.

Haha all I said was he's never giving up till the very end... you know we all would jump back in the pool if something interesting showed up.

April has been snowier as a month up here the past several years compared to March, lol. But a bunch of dead ratter Morches make that relatively easy.

00z and 06z concur now with the GGEM around 130 hours out, for a fairly middling nor'easter that would snow a fair amount in the interior -- even at lower els, too.  Not sure about the CP but forget that for now.

00z ECM trended a lot closer/NW though is the weak compared...  Just the fact that it did, and we are still outside of the Euro's wheel house is interesting.

Significant warming trend thereafter is still in the cards.

Yeah I think you are developing Seasonal Affective Disorder...you might want to get that checked out. Too many cloudy upslope days and darkness in the winter there. You may have to become a summer/convection lover going forward.

Haha well played.

It's just too depressing being around deep snow 150 days of the year. Oklahoma looks like a nice place. That's really where the American Dream lives.

Fascinating albeit complex changes to the larger scale circulation syste, ready to unfold across the next 10 days, offer up a multi-season characteristic outcome to our sensible weather here in SNE.

There is a hugely unanimous, massive correction of the AO forecast to take place ... such that by the 15th of the month it the index is postive.   Prior to that happening, we have a cold cyclone threat along the New England Coast.   Once that takes place, could be a bit of a climo-whiplash that extends across 4 days, going from a winter-like sensible impact to something similar to later spring in as little time.

Here's NCEPs mid/extended discussion.  If I had written it, it probably would have been the same:
