Amped
Snow can accumulate in southern Virginia in late March but further North in DC the sun angle is too high! First batch fizzling as predicted. Virga and pixie dust.

Ian
Snow can accumulate in southern Virginia in late March but further North in DC the sun angle is too high! First batch fizzling as predicted. Virga and pixie dust. if you get 2"/hr accum during the afternoon you prob got 3"/hr rates. that should be sufficient during the day. plus once you get past 4 or 5 p the direct impacts wane pretty quick. you can usually note fairly quick increases in accum near that timeframe in mod to mod+ snow. Disc
If only the snow I got fell after 5p. I'd say I still did pretty darn good to get snow accumulating like it did in the middle of the day at the end of March..

Qaanaaq
Slanted ruler, eh? Save the picture to your computer as an image... make a full post (not a quick reply). At the bottom of the page, you will see the attachment part. Click browse... find your picture and click okay. There should be a line that says something like 1 MB and add to post... click that and it should attach. Then post and viola Exactly! Thanks, Vincent
