Not much snow left in the UP. Can see some pockets of snow cover still left where some of the deeper snows had fallen.

Most snow looks to be 1200+ ft above sea level. A little bit still left in the eastern UP.

This is really coming down to the wire.  :yikes:

Thermometer says it's 80 freaking degrees but the glacier is still taking it's sweet old time.  I might have to drive up their and take a hair dryer to it.  I'm still banking on the 9th but a little worried the last sliver of ice will hang on.

75° at Hancock right now! So that glacier is sweating it for sure.

That snow must be like 2:1, lol.

Edit: Thinking the 10th of 11th will be the last day of snow in the shot.

This timelapse is so cool.... We need another one starting around mid November till spring. Sadly it probably won't get up to 6 feet this coming year, since its so rare.

I like it too. Since the time frame was so short, I figured I'd grab the hourly image and loop that. But, for a seasonal lapse, I use a noon shot, one image a day. At least it is what I do for my webcam, like this -->
