Drove from the canal to Exit 7.  Huge difference from about the a mile either side of the canal to the area about 2 miles north on 3.  From that area to about the 5 mile mark on Rte 3 (just short of exit 3) there's still a lot of snow around even in the media.  From Exit 3 north, mainly bare grass.   So clearly the heaviest stuff was just a little south of Tilt 1 last night as suspected.  I probably still have 2-3 here but melting.

Sharp gradient north of there, maybe spotty 1" around exit 5.

Rollo - It's on the left and says Send Us A Report.

It's Snowing near Ansonia, CT. I even said an hour ago as I was driving through here, I don't think there's any snow forecast for days but I feel like sure enough it will snow in Connecticut. Just cause.

10 minutes later - it Did.

I talked about this in the Connecticut Record blog.

If I'm going to bust, I'd rather do it with unpredictable norluns. More times than not taking the under on those works out.

I'm disappointed in the PNS. Doesn't represent the system well at all, and for no explained/apparent reason.

It's bogus. There should be ton of reports between 9 and 13". Fail
