AppsRunner
I realize during nowcasting or whatever you prefer to call it models can be pretty useless but I found this way too entertaining for the NWOH/NEIN area not to post:
KokomoWX
Graupel city. Ugh. Enough flakes mixed in to take visibility down to it's lowest so far. But still... Nothing here and the first wave has melted or blown away. Just bare grass.
Fickle Heights
Graupel city. Ugh. Enough flakes mixed in to take visibility down to it's lowest so far. But still... All snow now downtown. Flake size starting to increase.
michsnowfreak
But that shot is of mostly treated pavement. There's not any time, let alone in late March, that I'd expect accumulations on salted walking areas to match what has fallen on a snowboard in a grassy area. I was using the benches and people walking in the snow (who are no longer there lol) as a reference. Way too hard to even guesstimate by looking at a webcam, but theres no way thats approaching 9", especially when comparing it with pics from other places (trees, etc). cyclone77
Picked up about an inch in the last 45min. Sticking to paved areas now as well. Been shooting a time lapse all day, so it should be interesting seeing the accumulation/melt cycles, and now it's really accumulating.
