jhamps10
starting to think the dry slot will lower my totals some, but were pushing 6 to 6.5" easily here in Charleston

weatherbo
with this storm, it seems almost everyone in the sub-forum will have experienced at least one decent sized storm.... the exception being Toledo/Cleveland (the new Laf). Enjoy guys!

Jonger
Looks like most of the STL area should get a foot, I bet its dumping pretty good there.
Chicago WX
Really crappy rates under these bands here right now. Hopefully that changes. EDIT: it did. It's not all snow.
*IndyMeso*
Sleet/snow pellets here Heavy sleet at times for sure. Surfaces that arent treated are becoming very slick. At least it is shutting up the people I heard complaining all day about the snow never coming. Geez that was annoying.

wxman_ind
Snowing now. It was big flakes but now small. That dry slot better stay south!
Chicago WX
Wouldn't be a LAF storm without the sound of pinging. It's amazing that we've ever had an all snow event in the past. We have, haven't we?

dmc76
St. Charles,MO (few miles WNW of STL) has been getting pounded all day! 14-16" possible Dardenne Prairie, St Charles County.Heavy snow m12.4 inch, reported by NWS employee.

There's not any time, let alone in late March, that I'd expect accumulations on salted walking areas to match what has fallen on a snowboard in a grassy area. Thundersnow12
BMG which is sw of IND has a sfc pressure down to 996mb. Looks like there might be a smaller sfc low in that area from BMG-HUF-AJG-HNB with the actual lowest pressure along the KY/TN border.
cyclone77
Best snow rates of the day so far here. Snowing pretty nicely and starting to whiten the ground for the 3rd time after melting off a 2nd time lol. We've probably had a few inches of snow fall since early this morning, but well under an inch will go into the books due to 90% of it melting on contact. IndTenn
Started out here (Indy NW side) about an hour ago as pure sleet; now a mix of sleet and very fine snow. Elevated surfaces getting covered, but roads just wet...so far. If it's going to be so doggone cold in late March, I say let 'er rip.
Chicago WX
Graupel city. Ugh. Enough flakes mixed in to take visibility down to it's lowest so far. But still...
