On the drive in, looked like South Germantown, North Gaithersburg was the sweet spot with around a quarter inch. The winter has been especially horrific from BWI through NE MD. I have basically received no snow of note all winter. The major theme has been the total lack of precip when I needed it. It would be comical, except that the cold persists and the same thing happens to continually re-inforce how awful it is, even as spring allegedly arrives. My parents had a dusting in Eldersburg as well, for those looking to triangulate the zone of tiny-but-existing-accumulation. On my drive from Baltimore to Eldersburg this morning on I-70, it appeared that the first traces of snow started showing up in the shady areas along the highway somewhere between 695 and 29. Started outside of Ocean City and then got heavier towards Chincoteague NWR. Pretty day. Just minor accumulations on trees, bushes, etc. Will post some pictures and videos later...
