What is everyone's YTD snowfall vs. their average & Location?

Something like 28 or 29 after Saturday and last night. That's basically right at Average. I said all along before winter started if we could get an 08-09 winter in terms of total snowfall considering last winter, I'd be thrilled. Just a tad shy of that right now but basically as it stands today, 08-09's snow totals is exactly what we got.

Definitely a sharp gradient this year, almost like 93-94 thought not quite as extreme. Philly's sitting at just over 7" on the winter, about a 1/3 of their seasonal average, though more has fallen in the suburbs. DC's been shafted big time. Most places in central/NE NJ and NYC are right around average but places on LI, CT, NW NJ and Hudson Valley are running well above normal.

Seems like everybody north of Somerset/Middlesex county as least got to average, but 50-100 miles south are lagging way behind and 50 to 100 miles north and east are running way ahead.

Yeah we're well above average in Westchester...50" season for the third time in four years. Very similar to 08-09 with the latitude gradient across the region.

At 37" YTD. Average is roughly 29 - 31" so I'm above average this year based on 30yr avg. What's notable is my 10 year average is at 36". It's been a stellar decade even after last year. 1990's with the exception of 96 94 and 93 were simple awful, horrific and desperate times for a snow lover. I believe my average for that decade is below 20". 1980's were good down here, and above 30."

20% better than average. Sitting at 52.5 vs an average of 43.7.

It's rare that I do as well as you with your higher elevation and being further from the coast, but places nearer NYC like Long Island and Westchester have done so much better than climo in 09-10, 10-11, and 12-13. My 52" for Winter 12-13 is 140% of climo, which makes for an extremely impressive season, although it pales in comparison to the 68" in 09-10 and the 69.5" in 10-11, both of which represented close to 200% of climo snowfall for Dobbs Ferry here in Southern Westchester.

3 of the last 4 yrs has been extremely generous to CT... particularly the Naugatuck River Valley. Some impressive totals have come from that area in the last few yrs.

For Colts Neck.

Pretty good year. 12" storm in November, 10" event in Feb, and almost 6" in March. Then about 6-7" worth of minor stuff.

In colts neck I only measured 10 by me in nov. So I came up with 32 vs 30 avg.

In laurel hollow i finished with 42 vs 30
