We'll have to watch that intense area of squalls near ALB moving SE...they actually look pretty good right now. If they can continue to hold their own as they build SE, then someone could pick up a quick inch or two from that.

 

Nice band over the CT valley too about to hit C MA

There was a fair amount of lightning in that stuff back over the catskills. Haven't seen any show up in the last hour or so but you never know. heck of a short wave trough.

Getting crushed as I speak with a nice batch of yellow pixels. Tremendous snow growth with dendrites and dendrite aggregates. It's not that heavily rimed snow grain stuff you sometimes get with squalls. Visibility down to a few hundred feet.
