OceanStWx
So it's not over for metro Portland? I'm just a layman, but it sure looks on radar exactly like a storm as it's finishing up, sweeping last band of precip from SW to NE through York into Cumberland Co..... It's not over. The mid levels are just starting to close off closer to the coastal low. This will help to enhance the mid level lift that Will was just talking about. steve04074
Yeah,You can see it starting to fill on radar over NNH heading south, Rap has the surface low getting down to 996mb in the GOM about 75 miles SE of PWM But normally, once the center of the low has come within about 75-100 miles of Portland's latitude, out in the lower GOM, that's it. Tap turned off. Is it just moving quite a bit faster than had been forecast?

OceanStWx
OK. Thank you for your response! You've given me some hope. Just keep an eye on radar trends to see where that mid level banding sets up. Southern NH is probably SOL, but PWM on north still looks pretty good based on what I'm seeing.

A little lull in the heavier rates was actually pretty well modeled. I had a little concern last night that people would assume bust and head back out on the roads only to be surprised later on. OceanStWx
Or into the garage with the door closed and vehicle running We tried to find a way to hook a hose up to the tailpipe and pump it into the office's ventilation system last night. No luck. Still 1/2SM SN here in PWM, nice fluffy aggregates too. Should be accumulating nicely.
