Digityman
Are you on/near the water? 28F here and absolutely ripping snow. At home (currently) - No. As the crow flies about 3-4 miles inland from Staples Cove. At work - Yes. I could spit in Casco Bay (Portland/Falmouth line). Brian5671
back edge has moved through--looks like we'll keep good snowcover overnight where it will hopefully turn into cement and we can hold on for a couple of days (at least in the shade)
ORH_wxman
BOS just came in with 7.0" at 1pm...that puts them at 20.1" for the month. That makes it the first March of over 20" of snow since 1993. You have to go all the way back to March 1967 to find another 20" March at Logan Airport. In fact, its only the 8th March on record going back to the late 1800s that Boston has recorded over 20" in March. They might not be done after this event either. Sugarloaf1989
We had a heavy batch of sleet move through which put down about 1/2" of ice pellets that coated up the roads which are now covered and very slippery. Currently it's snowing lightly with dense fog moving in, temp is 31F.
