If I read things correctly, reports that most of CT had gone to IP--even RedSoxDude in Tolland was reporting a ping-fest.  Weathertap radar's showing most of CT as all snow.  Did things change back?

Based on dual-pol the melting layer is around 4000 ft and hovering somewhere just south of the Pike.

Mixture of sleet and snow now but still mostly pingers... :axe:

It appears that the radar's filling back up and things have picked up again.  So, perhaps all's not lost afterall.  School just cancelled here so at least I won't have that egg on my face had that failed.  Wife's work (Hampshire college) is still open so looks like I might be having some company during my work day.  Wii ftw.

Looks like almost 8".

Nice over-performer for Beantown!  Snwoing nicely here, but you're outpacing our accumulatinos by a lot as we have less than 5" eyeballing.  Will you guys avoid taint do you think?  We might ping a little here, but I'm more concerned about lack of qpf rather than tainting as the biggest threat to accumulations out here.  And, that's not my qpf fetish--it's just a fact.

Wow, I'm in Randolph again, you are definitely beating me. We might have 5". Looks like we were on the southern fringes of a few of your heaviest bursts, outside them mainly.

Hanging on to SN 30.4F

It's getting to 32 now and warming aloft so the end is near.
