Well it hasn't snowed yet...

 

For now it was just successful reverse psychology with respect to the dry air concerns :)

 

On radar it was all in the lowest KM.  We're blind in the first 880 meters or thereabouts and when pointing vertically the dry air was only apparent in the first few gates thereafter.  Above that it was coming down very hard.

I don't know but it doesn't fill in on the RPM until about 130 or 2 am... And its still a relative lull at that time.

 

By that time 2-4 inches have fallen from BOS to Sharon and Foxboro, with 0 in PVD on the RPM thru 2am

That's such a great graphic... I was planning on making something similar, but yours is much better looking! 

 

Just incredible to see the 40+ degree difference from last year.

It does look aggressive, but that band is strengthening pretty well right now. Fine snow, but accumulating fast here
