ravensrule
This feels like the snowquester thread very much It sure does, but I know you know this it was in the 40's all the way up by the Canadian border with that storm. There is still a slim chance of a decent storm.
Bob Chill
Euro doesn't drive the primary as far north as the gfs. I'll hug the euro
Deck Pic
Euro doesn't drive the primary as far north as the gfs. I'll hug the euro the GFS switches us all to rain and then back to snow...a strong low over PIT is not a good thing....probably means sleet too
ravensrule
it's like a 12 hour stall Since this will not be a Miller A we need everything to go absolutely perfectly this time of year to get a storm, but a 3" storm would be a huge win around here. I think that is still very doable in my area.

Bob Chill
the GFS switches us all to rain and then back to snow...a strong low over PIT is not a good thing....probably means sleet too Yea, that's a messy look in any winter month. Now that the next season in line will be summer I hope the euro is right. Honestly, the euro has be less of a cut and further south the whole time. Hopefully it's modeling the block and confluence better. We need the transfer to start and finish before the primary passes our latitude. Doesn't matter what the gfs shows temp wise. That type of evolution will be fraught.
ravensrule
we could definitely get a T-2" type event depending on where you are... It would be nice to see 2" of snow for the first seder, I am 37 and I have never seen that.

Lol you definitely have the right to be very skeptical after this winter. If the Euro is still showing something decent Friday than maybe have CWG go 2/10. WVclimo
For all that convoluted mess on the 18Z, temps stay at freezing or below in my yard until midday Monday.

I don't remember if we got anything during Passover, but I think it snowed 3 days later on Good Friday with temps staying in the 30's most of the day. I was only 9 then so I'm not positive about the way that week played out.
clueless
I saw snow on 4/6/82 driving to philly burbs...1st seder was following night Ah. Trying to remember the April snow in Manhattan. That was it. Old Random House Bldg. 50th and 3rd. Fantastic view from my desk.
Scraff
It would be nice to see 2" of snow for the first seder, I am 37 and I have never seen that. If this pans out, not only will I have a cup of wine set out for Elijah, but also an additional one for the snow gods! ;-)
WinterWxLuvr
We need to slow this down by about 3-4 hours. We need any heavy precip to occur closer to or after sunset. That should be doable. These have been modeled too fast frequently this season.

After the 4 cups I don't think I could drink another one. Ok If we get 6" I will drink a 5th.
