famartin
Looking to get something good, reliable, easy to use... and most importantly independent of a computer (i.e., an IP cam). Also with night vision. Suggestions?
binovc
Just bought one of these but I do not have it connected to the internet. Thought it would be plastic, but it is a metal shell http://www.lightinthebox.com/wanscam-waterproof-night-vision-wireless-ip-camera-with-ir-20m_p217293.html
Disc
I have a D-Link and they are very easy to set up. Mine is model DCS-930L, which doesn't have night vision but the DCS-932L does. Amazon has a pretty good price on it too. I also have it uploading to WU, but as far as I know, that requires the usage of a computer. They also have a lot of options through the mydlink website to customize your cam and also allow for remote viewing through the computer using their website or using their smartphone app. http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DCS-932L-mydlink-Enabled-Wireless-N-Network/dp/B004P8K24W Also found a DCS-942L camera too: http://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DCS-942L-mydlink-Enabled-Enhanced-Wireless-N/dp/B0061MU0A6/ref=pd_sim_p_3 My D-Link shot: (Not bad for $60 at Best Buy)
CNYWeather
I've got a couple of cams. Both are D-Link. a DCS942 & DCS930. Both run 24/7 and stream also.http://www,cnyweather.com/livecam.php (DCS-942) http://www.cnyweather.com/backcam7.php (DCS-930)1 used Weather Display and the other Webcam 7. Webcam 7 is really easy and has been running flawlesslyfor quite a while. I built a couple of boxes for them too.
