Grinch what's your total this year? I saw 65 or so last check but that can't be right that's what BDR has I'm at 90 even. You have to be at Least 80-85 we have been the same every storm.. Except blizzard bc The band was further wast over me..

in case anyone was gonna mention that they recorded 11 inches with the last event(no one in the metro area had more than 6-8 inches)

that was a slant stick for sure.. maybe they measured a drift?

lol.  That's unbelievable.

Have to credit the mets for pointing out the warm layer at ~800 in this area.  GFS soundings don't look nearly as bad as the nam and we know how the nam thermal profiles are generally viewed so have to be careful not to be overly negative.  Still though crappy growth and IP are hardly uncommon around here, and more often than not I feel like the mid level warming happens sooner rather than later in redevelopers.

I feel like we hear that every year.

In january, they were pre-treating every road for every flurry event because they felt that the winter was a bust and they needed to use their municipal snow budgets.  "use it or lose it'

Now they're screwed.  This state is so ridiculous.

I think hes a lot closer to 97 inches in reality than we want to beleive, it has just been an unbelievable run for eastern hills of ct and it seems like its almost every storm...in fact im jealous of everyone from manchester ct east and south down to west hartford and bristol etc..

well i am holding out hope for a miracle bc all i have is climo or slightly above right now(49.1)

those numbers in the spfd republican weather section are slant sticked for sure...in case anyone was gonna mention that

they recorded 11 inches with the last event(no one in the metro area had more than 6-8 inches) and over 3 inches in early november when no one here had more than an inch

i have no respect for anyone who slant sticks but i really do think those guys are close to 100 already.

i might have to consider bridge jumping if there is another ene or esne special this season lol

Jesus...you only have 49.1"? I thought I was in a relative hole iwth 67.5"....

1) surprised Box hedged advisory for Boston... gonna be very close to warning

we are even tickling 6-8 on NOAA map

per 12z NAM soundings (Rollo, only reason I use this is we are under 30 hours)

http://68.226.77.253/text/NAM80km/NAM_KBOS.txt

800-900mb warm mostly during lull

entire column is otherwise < 0C during most of front-end dump and any backend commahead

Boston meets warning with a slight tick colder and tick southeast for commahead at end

2) Nice to see SREFs pick up on Thursday eastern MA event already
