HoarfrostHubb
When scooter gets bullish, it's time to party. He has rarely been optimistic this winter until the last event...this is a good sign
CoastalWx
He has rarely been optimistic this winter until the last event...this is a good sign LOL, well I was optimistic during the blizzard in Feb. Even though I bashed the forecasts of all rain during the storm 9 days ago....I was severely underdone here. I just think this could be interesting here given my latitude. Obviously we know the caveats on the coast, but given the circumstances...I don't think this is a 1-3 deal and washed away sort of thing.Hopefully 00z continues this. I give a lot of my thoughts for this specific area so don't assume I'm bearish on events in the interior. By all means ask for clarification. I was checking out the channel 5 futurecast, looks to be an ugly morning drive. Public schools open til July? Lol.

CoastalWx
Lol just busting. Hope you get crushed I do feel crappy about bust earlier in March. That was a tough one..but it just happened to work out perfectly here on the coast. Hopefully this works out. I think 4-6 here will work..but could be more if things tick SE. SSTs and my latitude act to help out.

CoastalWx
Not to be a weenie but what are you thinking up here? Euro looked like mostly snow I thought. I think at least a good 8-10 there...perhaps a little more if it ticks SE. I could envision a good front end thump and then maybe a brief flip to pellets before dryslotting. Maybe you get a brief shot at drizzle and go back to snow before ending Tuesday night.

N. OF PIKE
People who like wawa should try Crotched. The new detachable lift makes it easy to get tons of laps and the terrain and snow compare favorably. It's also much less crowded. was there today, unless ur going to wa wa for the bar, crotched is just better. Better trails. Better prices. More snow. 1hr 15 min from wakefield, ma today. 17$ today. Midnite madness midwinter 5pm-3AM. 40 bucks. music food fire. ya i actually like it being "quiet". They are gonna get a nice dump in the monads tuesday. PWMan
You guys are riding the fence on the guidance, The lower totals should be right along the coast to just a few miles inland That's life on the CP, but I haven't really heard a good explanation for the mechanics at play in this one. We've got a good antecedent airmass, SSTs aren't usually a big issue by this time of the season, and in any event I thought we were going to have good NE ageo flow. No, we are going to get about 3 wet inches then turn to rain, and all should be gone by Tues afternoon. That is what the local mets are saying

N. OF PIKE
yes those higher amounts also got to say haverhill, ma into the 8-10 same w methuen area and just nw of methuen now 10-14 showing. so i don't know how much to take from that but that looks like a good trend extrapolated for NE mass

moneypitmike
MPM - I may just have to make the drive up for this at The Beast on Tuesday. You working or playing? Will it be worth the time in the car? I'll be working--actually will probably be trying to work while my daughter's enjoying her snow day! They had a lot of snow on the hill when I drove by on Friday.
moneypitmike
Here's the 21z RPM accumulated snowfall. LOL for Kevin. Wildcat to SR, ftw. What's the scale on that? Specifically, what's the blue area outside the green jackpot? (the fact that i'm in that color has nothing to do with my question)..

CoastalWx
It actually (for once) doesn't seem unreasonable. It just oscillates a lot for my liking. I find the one good thing to take away from it, are the trends. It's kept me in the 4-6 area for many runs now.
