You're going to be in a good spot... but they'll do well with some extra upslope assist I think.

I have no doubt that I'll do okay (well, very little doubt).  My watch is calling for 10-14.  I'll take the under as I anticipate some pinging will lighten accumulations.  But, still a good storm to at least give me an average season.

GFS has a sneaky little event on the 21st with more energy rounding the base of the ULL....18z NAM hinted at this too. Wonder if other guidance will pick up on this at 00z...it seemed to be unique to the 2 18z NCEP runs.

I noticed it on the SREF's earlier, too...

If you look at the individual panels (this is the 15z run), there are definitely some sneaky amped solutions, especially for Blizz's favorite area...eastern MA.

Its pretty thin near and W of Portland for a ways. Was up in Princeton yesterday and the snow was amazing there near Wachusett...solid 10-12"+ everywhere. Only isolated patches in the most exposed sun torched spots.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the image when I reply? I want to save the bandwidth.

They have more snow in Princeton that we have here! It's very patchy in Brattleboro. Still fairy large drifts, though, from the big storm a couple weeks ago. It's going to be nice to have cover again. NWS is predicting 8 to 16 inches.

Isn't that just the safe call at the moment, with colder trends, isnt there some chance we stay all snow in Portland/Scarborough?

You guys are riding the fence on the guidance, The lower totals should be right along the coast to just a few miles inland
