CTWeatherFreak
lol, it's shaky, but I've noticed it a few times, although meterologically it makes little sense, it just seems to happen... It's also possible that midtown NYC is a degree or so warmer than KNYC in central park, and that's what does it? Now that I think about it, that makes sense... -skisheep Heat Island effect. Know it well having lived in the area for decades.
CT Rain
NAM is frigid between 900-950mb. Yeah when I was looking at the BUFKIT soundings earlier it was like I was looking at a January storm with a really cold antecedent airmass. Pretty wild for 3/19! powderfreak
Man the NAM continues to be worlds weaker with that secondary.... only 1004mb east of BOS. Enters Maine at only like 997-1000mb where as other models are bombing out past BOS. Really has a big QPF difference up this way from the GFS/CMC/UK/EC with the lack of deepening of that secondary. Its like a weak wave instead of a explosive deepening in the Gulf of Maine.

CT Rain
Hit damage hard tonight!! meh for damage. We'll lose half the QPF to snow so icing should be 1/2" or less. Isolated outages I think.
CoastalWx
Could be... yeah Just kind of guessing. I mean he'll grab advisory snows probably..and then maybe a scalping from sleet? You probably looked harder over that way.

I agree with your earlier post about additional snow over the greens through Weds. into the evening. Might be a convergence zone that sets up somewhere between the primary to the west and whatever pops further east.
